Fast Company Names Liquid Robotics one of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies for 2012

Sunnyvale, CA and Kamuela, HI, February 14, 2012

Liquid Robotics®, an ocean data services provider and developer of the Wave Glider®, the first wave-powered marine robot, was named by Fast Company as one of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2012. Fast Company’s annual list selects the top companies “…whose innovations are having an impact across their industries and our culture.” With Apple, Facebook, Google and Amazon leading the list, Liquid Robotics ranked #31 right behind LinkedIn and ahead of Gogo (#32), Chipotle (#34) and PayPal (#43) to name a few of the Top 50 innovators. The company was recognized for “Going Deep in Ocean Monitoring”.
