As part of Liquid Robotics’ past Joint Venture with Schlumberger, fleets of Wave Gliders were deployed in conjunction with seismic survey vessels to collect resultant acoustics on seabed makeup.
Fleets of 20 Wave Gliders towed custom passive acoustic sensors to collect the reflections off the seabed from the source vessel. All data is delivered in real-time to the operations center via satellite communications.Â
