Mission-Ready Today
With unmatched operational experience, Wave Gliders set the standard for USV endurance, durability, navigation and reliability. Wave Gliders minimize deployment risks, shorten time-to-mission, and deliver continuous, actionable ocean insights.
Wave Glider SV3
Field-proven across diverse missions and harsh environments, Wave Glider SV3 arrives mission-ready with configurable sensor and payload bays, robust communications, and options to tow and cast.
Compact & Nimble
With its small size and minimal shipboard footprint, Wave Glider SV3 is easy to transport and can be rapidly deployed from small vessels.
Cost-Effective Data Collection
The most economical solution for continuous, autonomous data collection, scalable from a single unit to a multi‑platform fleet.
Wave Glider SV5
Released in 2025, this larger Wave Glider variant increases payload capacity, expands onboard energy storage, and enables prolonged operations in austere and extreme environments. Payloads, sensors, and communications capabilities are fully interoperable between Wave Glider SV3 and SV5.
Expanded Operational Range
Greater onboard energy collection and storage enable extended endurance in all environments, including in high-latitudes and winter seasons.
More Payload Options
The large float increases the payload capacity and supports high-power payloads and multi-mission configurations.
Wave Glider SV6
Launched in 2026, SV6 is Liquid Robotics’ largest Wave Glider, built for power‑intense missions and large‑footprint payloads in demanding conditions. It is fully backward compatible with SV3 and SV5 payloads and sensors.
Advanced Power System
The SV6 is the first Wave Glider platform designed to natively support 48 V power systems and payloads.
Power & Capacity Expansion
Significant increase in power collection and energy storage accommodates higher payload counts and sizes.
